Juhana Marttinen Architects / Projects / Serlachius Museum Gösta
The Serlachius museum Gösta is the old manor of Gösta Serlachius, a legendary papermill magnate in Finland. The Serlachius foundation organised on open international competition for an addition to the current museum. The competition received 576 entries from Finland and abroad, making it one of the largest Finnish architectural competitions ever. Our entry is a unique, exceptionally beautiful building incorporating a metal skin and wooden structure. The interior lighting is adjustable to accommodate different types of exhibitions. |
